HyreYard publishes landscaping information and does no landscaping work. Nothing here is professional advice. These are the plain terms for a site that publishes guidance and, in future, will introduce homeowners to landscaping professionals.
What this site is
HyreYard publishes educational information about landscaping and lawn care for homeowners in the United States. HyreYard is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise, inspect, warrant or finance landscaping work.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, legal, insurance or engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional assessing your specific property. Conditions, codes, licensing rules and prices vary by state, county and property. Verify anything you intend to rely on with the primary source and with a qualified professional.
Accuracy and dates
We source factual claims to government agencies, model codes, state and local rules, trade standards bodies and published research, and we date material that is time-sensitive. Rules and prices still change.
Where a page carries a “retrieved”, “checked” or “updated” date, that is the date the claim was last checked, not a promise it is still current when you read it.
Third-party links
We link to external sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Introductions to companies
HyreYard intends to introduce homeowners to landscaping professionals and to be paid for doing so. Any such relationship will be disclosed where it applies. An introduction is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a warranty of any company’s work, and any contract you sign is between you and that company.
